Cheryl Harris - Equine Osteopath

DOGS ALSO RESPOND WELL TO OSTEOPATHY...

I treat dogs who:

  • need help following surgery (particularly if there has been a period of immobilisation or orthopaedic surgery carried out)
  • have chronic conditions which affect their movement and balance (for example congenital problems affecting the hips/ knees, arthritis)
  • have particular strains and stresses due to their work (greyhounds, working dogs, agility dogs)

Sometimes a course of several treatments is needed; other times simply an 'MOT' to check that the musculoskeletal system is working optimally for the dog to do the work he/she is required to do.  Dogs respond readily to osteopathic care.  If you would like me to treat your dog, please ask your veterinary surgeon for a referral.  Most vets are happy to refer.  I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council, fully qualified and insured to treat companion animals.
